Derek is an enthusiastic team player with a passion for success and sincere desire to develop effective client marketing programs. His primary responsibilities include managing paid search campaigns, SEO content creation, preparing client reports, and managing print & digital marketing projects for clients.
Prior to joining O’Rourke Hospitality Marketing, Derek held a number of positions at Drinkwater Productions, a restaurant marketing agency, in Hampton, NH. Beginning in 2014, he worked as an Account Specialist supporting digital strategy and ensuring community engagement. Derek was promoted to a Project Manager, responsible for targeting digital media buys and overseeing email marketing campaigns, while maintaining positive relationships with small business owners.
At Drinkwater, Derek discovered his talent for developing compelling digital marketing strategies, while maximizing customer engagement and ROI for his clients. He is a conscientious, dedicated manager who utilizes his many skills to ensure the best interest of the customer.
In addition to his professional experience, Derek was recognized as a Holloway “Innovation-To-Market” Competition semi-finalist in the UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business & Economics. He is a 2014 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management.← Back to Team
