Marketing Coordinator

O’Rourke Hospitality Marketing is a leading hotel marketing firm specializing in Internet marketing, website design and development, mobile marketing and creative services.

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator with 1+ years of experience to join our in-house team. The ideal candidate will have experience with digital marketing channels such as SEO, PPC, display advertising, social media and email marketing. You should be an individual that can efficiently and effectively manage various projects and tasks at one time. You should possess a strong passion for marketing and its impact in the hospitality space.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and implement on-site SEO audits for existing and new client websites.
  • Manage network of content writers for SEO content strategy campaigns and post content to client sites.
  • Set up PPC campaigns, including creation of keywords, ads and campaign structure and handle ongoing changes.
  • Create and set up banner ad/display campaigns for retargeting and Facebook
  • Create social media content calendars and schedule content on social networks.
  • Set up Google Analytics and automated reports based on O’Rourke’s reporting format.
  • Coordinate print and digital marketing projects, such as print ads, banner ads, emails, landing pages
  • Coordinate multiple projects across various client/vendor relationship

Position Requirements include:

  • Bachelor´s degree in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant major required.
  • 1+ years in digital marketing, hospitality experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the Internet.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong time management, project management, and problem solving skills
  • Extremely strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Outstanding verbal / written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks with changing priorities
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

Print/Web Designer

Located 35 miles north of Boston in Newburyport, MA, O’Rourke Hospitality is a leading hotel marketing agency specializing in Internet marketing, website design and development, mobile marketing and creative services. We are seeking a full time, in-house Print/Web Designer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have superior graphic design and front-end web development skills, and should be comfortable working across a wide range of disciplines, including website and landing page design, print and banner advertising, sales and marketing collateral, email campaigns, logo design, and more.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Adobe CS6 applications in a Mac OSX environment (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP
  • Experience in building WordPress sites
  • Understand principles of design, and adhere to print and web standards and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and have excellent communication and proofreading skills
  • Ability to deliver high-end creative, while adhering to client brand standards
  • Ability to quickly grasp marketing objectives for assigned projects
  • Knowledge of preparing artwork files for printers
  • Comfort with working in a structured, time billing environment
  • Experience working with art directors and/or account managers, to ensure best quality standards and deadlines are met

Account Manager

Located 35 miles north of Boston in Newburyport, MA, O’Rourke Hospitality is a leading hotel marketing agency specializing in Internet marketing, website design and development, mobile marketing and creative services. We are seeking a highly organized and creative Account/Project Manager to manage client web and print marketing projects on time and within budget. Candidate will act as a liaison between clients, internal designers/web developers and outside vendors.

Requirements, skills and responsibilities include:

  • 5+ years experience in an agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of both digital and traditional print marketing projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with websites, website design, and other online web applications as well as print marketing projects
  • Proven experience with trafficking multiple projects and client/vendor deliverables.
  • Manage the day-to-day projects associated with the account.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with in-house and contracted designers and developers.
  • Posses very strong writing and proofreading skills and have an eye for great design.
  • Manage and maintain excellent client relationships.
  • Write and execute creative briefs.
  • Maintain quality control on the account, and actively pursue new opportunities with the client.
  • Manage budgeted times on jobs ensuring timely deliverables and profitable projects.
  • Think proactively and be very thorough within tight deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of the technical aspects of web development and web technology (HTML, CSS, Adobe Suite, etc.) a plus
  • Ability to understand and work in accordance with client brand standards, goals and objectives.
  • Ability to effectively assist creative team with questions/problems with project details and work flow.
  • Possess energy and enthusiasm for the position, company, and industry.
  • Enjoy working within a small, entrepreneurial agency environment.
