Hotel Fauchere is a boutique hotel in Milford, Pennsylvania that was restored from a historic building built in the 1800s. While they had done a great job of renovating and updating their hotel, their website was still in the past. Guests were visiting their website, but those visitors weren’t turning into bookings. After performing an audit of their site, O’Rourke suggested building a new site that was mobile responsive and used compelling copy and engaging photography to help convey the on-property experience to potential guests.
After launching their new website in March 2017, Hotel Fauchere immediately saw improvements.
When compared to the previous year, Fauchere saw:
- Overall Conversion Rates increased 7.6%
- Mobile Conversion Rates increased 188%
- Bookings increased 13.6%
- Room Nights increased 10%
- Revenue increased 9.3%
- Mobile Organic Search increase 5.4%
A hotel can have updated rooms and state-of-the-art amenities, but if people can’t see these benefits on your website then you may fall to competitors. Giving people some insight into the on-property experience plays a huge role in turning visitors into guests and boosting your bottom line.Go Back
