Located in Greenport, NY, the Menhaden embraces its location as a popular sport fishing destination. Its very name is a nod to the menhaden species of fish that was a vital part of the area’s history. The 18-room boutique hotel features a rooftop deck with spectacular views of the Long Island Sound. It’s also convenient to charter boats, ferries and myriad vineyards.
After undertaking a host of major improvements at the seasonal property, the owners of the Menhaden wanted to capitalize on every booking during their peak summer season while also trying to draw guests to stay with them in non-peak times.
O’Rourke Hospitality had a mandate to boost Menhaden’s social media presence. We developed a tailored campaign that involved pay-per-click, paid social and display advertising, all working in conjunction with fresh imagery featuring the property upgrades.
